Charles Coventry equalled Saeed Anwar’s all-time record highest individual score of 194 runs as Zimbabwe piled up 312-8 in the fourth ODI against Bangladesh.

Coventry’s unbeaten innings came from 156 balls and contained 16 fours and seven sixes.

Former Pakistan opener Anwar’s record had stood for 12 years, and Coventry equaled the feat with his maiden international hundred.

Zimbabwe, 2-1 down with two matches to play, were hugely indebted to 26-year-old Coventry – with Stuart Matsikenyeri’s 37 the second-highest score after the hosts chose to bat first.
